Shree Kirti Varsani

Our beloved Gurudev Shri Muktjeevan Swamibapa, an ardent believer in girls’ education, used to emphasize that the right path is always paved by the right education. In 2001, after the tragic earthquake when the prospects for higher education for girls were very dim, Acharyashree, with his farsightedness, granted permission to establish a women’s college here in Bhuj. Thus, our journey began, marking Kutch’s first and only women’s college at that time, with only 120 students. Today, the sapling planted by the blessings of Shri Swaminarayan Bhagvan, Swamibapa, Prem Murti Bapa, and Acharyashree has grown into a glorious tree with 1100 students receiving not just higher education but also achieving overall development.
In the last 19 years, more than 15,000 women have graduated from our institute, expressing gratitude to Swamibapa and Acharya Shree Purushottampriya Swamishree Maharaj. Today, present Acharya Shree Jitendrapriyadasji Swami always prays and cares about our institute, whether he is in India or abroad. Due to Acharyaswamiji’s personal intervention, we are developing day by day and becoming self-reliant. Despite that, with Acharyashree’s grace, we have received generous gifts such as an advanced computer lab, a spacious ground, a futuristic gym and music room, and well-equipped buses. We feel obliged and blessed to have Acharyashree’s blessings for the growth and development of our institution.
The vision of our institution is to mold students into dynamic global citizens who are intellectually stimulated, technologically equipped, socially aware, and sympathetic by providing value-based and quality education. The college aims to impart lifelong learning so that our students become better human beings, retaining a fine sense of balance between traditional values and modern perspectives.
The institution is committed to the cause of empowering women from all sectors, including those who are socially and economically deprived, through access to higher education.
